Good variety of choices

Low cost holidays had a good variety of hotels and accomodation to choose from.
I found it particularly helpful to read peoples reviews of what they thought of their accomodation. Ours was spot on. I would recommend to anyone reading what other people think of the place they are staying.

Great holiday provider

We've used them a couple of times, great prices and good choice.

Always cross reference with trip advisor to ensure the hotel is up to scratch.

Recommend this company to friends and family.

Unik service til prisen...

Bestilte en fantastisk billig ferie til Kreta, efterfølgende blev hotellet lavet om, da de ikke kunne få plads alligevel, men til en bedre hotel ... Vi havde all inclusive og med transfer til og fra hotellet, alt forløb gnidningsløst. Eneste problem var, at vi selv skulle sørge for at kontakte transfer-firmaet på tilbageturen, men det gjorde hotellet for os. Ingen problemer med kontakt til Lowcostholliday da de lavede om på hotellet ... super service - meget bedre end man kan forvente til den pris...

uacceptabel behandling!!!!

Aldrig har jeg oplevet sådan en service og mangel på samme!! Jeg bestiller en rejse med fly og hotel i London 2 dage, pr. Person 1614 kr. Dette betaler jeg lørdag for 2 personer. Der kan gå 72 timer før det går igennem, men det er reserveret på min konto. Jeg ringer så i dagmandag for at sætte bagage på 243 kr. Altså i alt 3473 kr. Jeg får så af vide at prisen er steget, hvad.... Forsøger at forklare at man ikke kan lave om på denne pris, men bliver mødt af en mand der overhovedet ikke har forståelse for mig eller det at det er en gave til min kone og datter!!!! Selvfølgelig skal de afstedkom, prisen bliver så 3815,71 kr. Det er små penge men princippet, jeg siger OK. En halv time senere bliver jeg ringet op at jeg skal betale for bagage altså 243 kr oveni, fint fint, han siger så prisen igen og her er den steget til 4300 kr. Hmm... Jeg bliver gal og siger at jeg vil tale med en der har flere kompetencer. Hun siger så at det er deres skyld men de ikke kan gøre noget, nu er der hævet 6171 kr. På min konto, det hænger slet ikke sammen, og jeg kan åbenbart ikke gøre noget...... HJÆLP HJÆLP venner, det er næsten 3000 kr. Mere end det vi bestilte den til, det kan virkelig ikke passe, firmaet skyder skylden på ryanair, men hvis man siger man vil snakke med dem, så mener de ikke ryanair vil hjælpe????? Jeg er VIRKELIG tosset over at give en gave til mine piger også taget folk ræven på en på den måde!!! Vi har forsøgt 5 gange at tale med dem om det!!!!!

I am seeing and reading a worrying pattern on various forums where payments for trips have been deducted TWICE from passengers...as happened to me !
Yes , I got the money back after numerous phone calls , and a nervy couple of day's wait , but I had to be proactive here , and have had NO apology , nor any compensation for those numerous and lengthy ......0871 calls.....despite emailing them on FOUR (UP TO NOW) separate occasions , asking for a £25 allowance....the cost of the calls plus hours wasted on my one day off.....
I even called direct to their query dept. at 4.20 pm on a Saturday , and got a message saying.... " the office is now closed "....and this was 40 minutes before it should have closed ....no-one from the other depts. I called knew why ....NOR WOULD THEY HELP ME RESOLVE THIS !!!!.
So come on Lowcostholidays.com.....Please redeem yourselves and respond to this ....otherwise I may take the double payment "scam" to trading standards....

4 star hotel we booked cancelled offered 2star!

I have never had such a bad experience with a holiday company! I booked for my mum & 3 grandchildren to stay in a 4 star hotel in Ibiza. They"re due to travel the in 3 weeks. I was sent an email today to say there is no availability at the hotel, there obviously was availability when I booked it & they took the money. They offered me another hotel it was a 2 star in San antonio ' not where we chose to go & not the same standard. I found the advisor rude & unhelpful. I was told that we had to fly to Ibiza it was just the hotel we couldn't go to so theoretically you could end up with a flight & no accommodation. I was told its all in the terms & conditions! I ended up with a refund of the accommodation & booked it direct with another hotel. As after reading other reviews some people have got on holiday & been put in a different hotel with no explanation. I felt this was stressful & unacceptable I would never book with lowcost holidays again

Excellent holiday

Just booked again with low cost holidays going to Lanzarote to Playa Blanca to the Dream Castillo amazing hotel on the beach lovely hotel grounds and fantastic food and really helpful staff This time im going with just my mum and can honestly say its a very safe place for two females .Last year we went to this hotel and in the july we went to the Lanzarote Princess another great holiday few with ryan air no problems at all would recommend this hotel if you have children in toe with you it was great enjoy and well done to low cost holidays

great assistance with no problems

Have booked our latest holiday to Benidorm with low cost holidays again .Have booked with them before and always found them to be perfect in their customer service and everything concerning my booking.We go on the 13th May for 10 days and I know there will be no problems.Will be back on here if there is to let you all know .

just got back from the isla bonita in tenerife south for the second time now and as allways we have nothing wrong to say about it.good food and drinks.and its a good place for kids to go and be safe..

great service

went to Benidorm through low cost hols,perfect from start to arriving home, no hitches at all; flights,hotel ,transfers all went like clockwork,cant speak for the other reviews but I would use them again.

Dont know what to do now!!

I thought I just found a great website with affordable holiday! but after reading reviews, Im not quite sure whether I want to have a big phone bill and unsecured holidays afterwards!!! :/

Most stressfull Holiday Ever!

got harrassed all holiday by hotel for another £475 cos we'd put wrong age of grandaughter, turned out Lowcost holiday sales person had made the mistake. Still got a phone bill for £33 for call to Lowcost in Uk when checking out. Have used company for many years but now they have lost a valued customer.
Cannot get through to customercare what-so-ever, sick of trying.

Great and smooth service, cheap holidays !

I booked my holidays twice through this website and of course i was afraid at first and didn't know what to expect since it's so cheap. But it was perfect. Happy Experience.

Went to Lansarote with this company last November and had a lovely holiday,no hitches and accommodation very clean and tidy(self catering).Have booked again and go next week no problems to date!!

Brilliant company, brilliant experience.

I would recommend low cost holidays to anyone. I book about 4-5times a year with this company and my experience have been brilliant so far. Today I spoke to a gentleman called Aidan Ryan; he is brilliant and has excellent customer care skills. If you want satisfaction then speak to him; there are two other ladies who have also been good; I think one is Suni? and the other Stephanie.

Sometimes it depends who you speak to. I have just returned from paris at residhome apartment and it exceeds what I paid. If you don't want to book holidays on credit card or end up with a huge bill. Low cost holidays is the answer. In this time and age, we need a company like this one. I can NOT do but praise them.

PLEASE JUDGE FOR YOURSELF; DO NOT BE LED SOLELY BY BAD REVIEWS, BY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN GOOD AND I HOPE YOURS WILL BE GOOD TOO. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Buyer beware

Once they have taken your money, hope and pray that all goes smoothly as you CANNOT get hold of customer services - they have made sure of it! I echo what other reviewers have said below: it is expensive to call and impossible to get hold of anyone. You will get referred to their 'FAQ page on their website for all the options offered and that message will keep repeating itself until you hang up, unless of course you want to 'pay the balance' of your holiday money for which you get the option to 'speak to an advisor' who can only take payments and nothing else. We have also only just got back from a half board 4 star holiday and there was nothing four star about it - the food is the worst I have eaten (my daughter said it made school dinners seem like a luxury and if her school mates had it they would realise how good they had it) and the hotel was pretty much falling apart. But then again I only have myself to blame for that as really the clue is in the paradox - since when did 'low cost holiday' ever go with 'four star'? If you don't mind okayish hotel accommodation and horrible food then go ahead and use them and hope that nothing goes wrong (chances of things going wrong are very low I may add but sadly on the odd occasion these things happen). If it's a great holiday with good food and great accommodation you're after, I would strongly recommend you go elsewhere, and do plenty of research about the company before handing over your cash!

The company from hell!

Echo all the previous comments about communication being impossible, emails rarely replied to, phone calls costing a lot of money, but worst of all they took our hotel and transfer fee out of our account twice three days apart. Low Cost Holidays (LCH) deny all knowledge of this despite evidence from our bank statement to the contrary. Full marks to LLoyds TSB who have reimbursed us and now have the job of recovering the money from LCH. We are due to take our holiday in 3 days time, we can only but hope that the Tunisian's customer relations are somewhat more developed than LCH's non existent ones. (debit card charged at 1.5% which amounts to about £5, it cost them 20p).

Post script
Second charge for hotel and transfer was refunded a few days after this original review was published. I am grateful for the refund but it is a shame that it took the review to prompt a response from Low Cost Holidays. I believe they are a company who have expanded without the infrastructure to manage it. Their sales reps work from home and after sales in India, there is no coordination between the two. The only postal address for LCH available is customer relations based in Gatwick who will only act once your holiday has been taken.

The holiday itself was a great success, this was entirely in spite of LCH contribution not because of it. I will certainly never use this company again nor would I advise anyone to do so.

Gave them lots of money, being ignored - worried

I bought a £4k holiday to orlando through their website. Now I cannot log in to get the details, the site says it's never heard of my email address (despite it being the one to which they sent confirmations and I have a screenshot of me logged in with it when i made the booking).

I raised a support ticket last week with no response. I phoned them on Monday and was told IT would look into it and get back to me. It's Thursday and nothing so far

Are these people legit? I am starting to get worried

Concerned after the review comments here....

Having booked a hotel reservation at Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow for 4 nights
22-26 April inclusive, Booking Reference 6324231
I was happy to receive my Accommodation voucher confirming this and payment was taken from my bank account.

I checked with the hotel last night (10 April) who confirmed that a reservation for 4 nights was made in my name by Lowcostholidays.com however Lowcostholidays.com had then made a cancellation for 2 of the nights !

I have emailed them to ask why I have been charged in full for the 4 nights and not received any update on any cancellation.

I am a regular visitor to this hotel and they know me very well, so both the hotel and I are looking forward to hearing from Lowcostholidays.com that they have indeed made an error and it should be a 4 night booking.

I also have another reservation Booking reference 6324231, paid in full, which is for next week, 15-19 April 2013 I hope they do NOT cancel that reservation before I arrive.

Check your bookings direct with the establishment prior to arrival would be my advice in future.

all seems ok so far!

i received 2 emails this morning...... 1st one stated that there was a prob with our flights and asked uys to ring a number to confirm more details., stating that there were issues related to price..... BUT 2nd email stated that ALL WAS OK and attached were ALL of our travel docs...... after reading reviews on here I assumed that there was some type of error or worse "some type of online scma taking place..... well u hear of this sort of stuff.... sites set up to resemble an official site etc.... BUT NOPE, this was genuine and the lady I finally spoke to at lowcostholidays finally assured me that everything is ok and the flights are now secured.... PHEW!!!! I was a bit worried at the start! Now all i can say is BRING ON THE SUNSHINE!!!

We just spent our hard earned money on a 15 night holiday in Bulgaria...excited to say the least. 5* resort & half board...all sounds GREAT! but NOT HAD CONFIRMATION EMAIL YET, & after reading these reviews, I'm a bit freaked out.. will we be told its costing more??? Hope our email comes soon. The £ has left the bank already, but no email to confirm.... eeeeek!!!

Polite and helpful when booking, but totally ignore your emails for after sales service

The Sales people are polite and very helpful, but make certain you confirm every detail when booking and pay them your hard earned cash. If you need to contact the After Sales team then think again. Calls cost 10p per minute and staff I spoke with were rude and unhelpful. If you email the After Sales team you receive an automated email stating a reply within 2 days. 8 days and 3 emails later and I still DO NOT have a reply.
I haven't been on the holiday yet so it better be as expected otherwise I'll be lowering the 2 stars to 1.
Lowcostholidays, if you reply to my emails within the next 24 hours I may increase your rating...

Excellent service

Hi i have just returned from a 4 day mini break in Krakow. Evrything went smoothly. I had a problem with the website at the time of booking and phoned them up to pay and finalise. The person I spoke to was friendly and helpful and phoned me back when she said she would. I have booked a previous holiday to Krakow with them, 2 trips to Greece. I would definitely recommend.

RIP OFF

Booked a family holiday 2 days ago and had no email to confirm, then just had a phone call to say our flights have gone up by £93, he is ringing me back so i can decide what to do, i am now going to cancel our holiday and have got all the messing around of getting a refund. Do not use this company .

Good holiday with no problems

About nine months ago we went on-line and booked a four day city break in Prague, we have now returned and I can honestly say that we didn't have any problems. There were four adults in our group and everyone agreed that it went without any issues. The holiday was as described and there were no hidden extras. We only paid £115 each, which made me think that the hotel might be lacking a few creature comforts, but I was very impressed and would stay at the same hotel again. I had to ring low cost holidays during our journey home as I'd left my mobile phone in the taxi going to the airport. Because we had arranged our own transfers there wasn't a great deal they could do, however the lady from low cost holidays gave me some information and some useful numbers and I managed to trace my phone and its is now on its way back to me. Many thanks to the honest taxi driver and the hotel reception staff who have sent my phone back FOC. I can only speak from my own experience, but based on the service I received I would use low cost holidays again.

Cheap companies always end up costing more

I am very disappointed with lowcostholidays. Having never booked a holiday before I was nervous and excited and double checked everything. One thing that surprised me is that next to passengers number 2 onwards it said 'copy last name from first passenger'. This was not hyperlinked, and as I had never booked a holiday before I felt I should not question it for fear of seeming naive, so I gave all my friends my last name, assuming that this was to show we were a group and was something we would need to update later, along with passport details, which were not required at the time.

A month later I casually mentioned this to my dad who, as an experienced 'holiday booker' stated that this was incorrect, and to ring them so that I could ammend my booking. He noticed a small symbol which when clicked would copy the last name of the first person to other passengers, and commented that this was sneaky and very badly designed (he is a website developer himself). To those inexperienced in computer symbols and holiday booking this is clearly very misleading. I rang them the next day at a premium rate and received a woman who's English wasn't too great, who stated that I would have to pay a £35 admin fee, and £30pp to change the names on the flight. I feel this is disgusting as it is clearly a mechanism lowcostholidays use to make money off inexperienced holiday makers. On top of this I had to pay a card charge on top of the £155, despite being offered no other way of paying, and it being their misleading information which has led to this situation.

The website design is terrible, and their customer service is poor. I will tell family and friends to use a different company next time. It's companies like this that give 'rip off britain' its nickname.

Update: I have sent them an email today with my booking reference number (6267738). Looking forward to a reply, that will hopefully resolve the situation.

Booking is ok, after booking they couldn't care less...

Hi folks,

We booked with Low Cost Holidays a couple of months ago and when you finally speak with someone on the phone, their staff are very helpful.

Unfortunately once you have booked and they have your money, its impossible to speak to someone if you have a query. Perhaps other people who have booked with them in the past can help?

We are travelling with a 1 year old and a 2 year old and have booked flights, transfers and accomodation through LCH. I am concerned that when out transfer turns up, it will not have suitable seating for our children i.e. baby seats. Can anyone who has been with LCH before, especially to the Canaries, tell me if the seats will be provided? I can only assume they will if it is a legal requirement but the last thing I need is to turn up and they aren't.

With regards to the price increase, as we use a live system for our bookings, from time to time, prices can fluctuate which can cause a booking to be unsuccessful. When booking with lowcostholidays.com , we act as an agent on your behalf. Unfortunately if the airline fail to confirm the flight due to a fare increase, we would contact you as soon as possible to see if you wish to proceed.
As the booking you has made is classed as a dynamic package, the other components of you bookings will confirm without the flights, as bookings for hotels / transfers alone can be made. This then causes a refund to have to be processed and we would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may have presented.

Avoid! My biggest mistake was giving lowcost holidays the benefit of the doubt!!!

We booked a holiday to Florida via lowcost holidays when we arrived low cost holidays hadn't even confirmed our reservation with the hotel the hotel let us check in as we had all our documentation to prove the we have paid for the hotel via low cost holiday fast forward 5months, we are now out of pocket because the hotel contacted low cost holidays to get the money for our booking which they have refused to pay as low cost holidays, are saying they have never heard of us before so the hotel has charged my credit card for our stay back in October even though we paid low cost for the accommodation,so we have paid twice for our holiday and low cost have stolen our money regardless of the proof and booking references we have from low cost we are out of pocket! (Pay cheap pay Twice) My warning never ever compromise quality over cost!!!!

Worst experience ever

I write to complain about the worst booking experience I have ever had when booking a holiday. This weekend both myself and my fiancée booked our hen and stag dos through low cost holidays.com so we have spent over £7000 with you so you would think we would receive a fairly good service of even an accurate one would be satisfactory! When booking my hen do 2 passengers were flying from Leeds and 10 from gatwick when I recieved the confirmation the passengers were incorrect on the Leeds flight, I called the lady who booked it all and she said it was no problem she would change it....I heard nothing else! I called your "after sales" who made me feel like it was my fault and said he would have to pull the call to listen to see who's fault it was and this would take up to 5 days...he called me back a few days later and said it was indeed their error but to change it one of the people on the Leeds booking would need to phone up...so today this is what we have done only to be told jet2.com will not change it without speaking to the cardholder which is my partner who was at work. We were then told we could call until 9pm tonight to amend it so this Is what we did only to be told that unless we are put through directly by low cost holidays we would foot the bill for changing the names! Yor aftersales team is only open till 5pm so what are working people expected to do! I then called low cost holidays to ask for their complaint procedures and your staff don't even know you have one! To top it off on checking my credit card statement today I see I was charged 2.5% for the booking which I was not informed of at the time!

good value

Myself and 3 friends stayed at La Valetta, Malta from Thursday to Sunday, all inclusive. The hotel was clean and tidy, the food was hot, tasty and plentiful and it was a bargain at £120 for the 3 nights. The shower was a laugh as water came out of everywhere when we turned it on but it didn't spoil a lovely break. There was some noise at night, the boom, book from the night club music and people returning to their rooms at all hours but as I had ear plugs with me because in expected this....everything was fine. Staff were friendly and polite and we had a great time.

Rip off no customer care they just take you to the cleaners and dont reply to complaints

I am going to try and be calm because these people have really really annoyed me they should be shut down.

I try and keep it short, They charge me over £1200 for the holiday which was mis sold and which i mean it wasnt like somthing minor it was everything from the pictures, the desciption, the rooms etc

Food was days old which just put some mayo to desguise it.
All inclusive drinks ran out everyday.
Rooms was a very poor maintained.
Power cables in pool with tape around not sure it was live or not.
ETC

I thought the holiday was stressfull but it was even worse with customer relations. I write a complaint they say it takes 28 days which is industry standards which they did not stick to those standards they sent me a message after phoning them 5 times and bombarding them with messages then they said they are sorry and its because its the end of season which ok fair enough i accepted that (now i think its a lie to keep me off them).
I waited another 2 months for a reply and they only replied because i complained on here if i didn't i wouldn't of heard from them. They sent me a reply offering me 20% of hotel cost plus £106 compensation which is unacceptable and offended me,
They said it will take 28 days to review it again and guess what its been 2 months and no reply, I phoned them on tuesday (indian call centre) and asked for a manager theysaid that they would get customer relations back to me and they didn't .I have phoned loads of times and asked for a manager but they are always busy (do not want to talk) and said they will call me they never but this time i said i am not going unless i talk to a manager and they put me through I was not aggressive to them i just told them nicely that the the service is very poor and how they should treat people with respect after all we do pay there wages.

Does it really take 5 months to sort out somthing that takes 28 days I am fed up of them messing me around and all the lies.

I dont want no apoligy I dont want compensation i just want my money back in full,
I am on the very edge to go to ABTA and trading standards I have given you so many chances and a lot of time to sort it in fact 4 months extra you have had.

If you would of delt this matter the way it should of I would of used this company again because i know things do happen i work in a simular industry which i do look after my customers so they refer you to other people.

so lowcost if you want to look into it my ref num is 6036725.

PS i want my money back and if i have to il make 100 facebook accounts to post on here because you do not reply by e mail i dont want to but i want money back.
I never complain about anything but the service i was provided start to finish is shocking.

I have literally just booked a holiday to algarve with 'LOWCOSTHOLIDAYS.COM'.

I paid a total amount of £482.97 IN FULL on their website. Once the payment went through I was directed to a confirmation page saying the following:

We are delighted to confirm your holiday booking. Your booking has been made and has been secured by paying a DEPOSIT of £482.97 (including £0.97 credit card surcharge). the balance of £40.00 is now due.

Now how can this be when i only have the option to pay my balance in full (since I am due to fly in 6 days time)..

When I went through the process again on the website it seems that the flight costs have suddenly risen by exactly £20 per person (therefore I owed 'lowcostholidays' a further £40 in order to receive my travel documents). Lowcostholidays do NOT send your travel documents until all outstanding payments have been made.

When I spoke to their 'so called' customer service team I was obviously transferred to an Indian call centre where they were obviously following a script.

They couldn’t tell me anything factual just to wait a couple of days for the flight details to be available. BUT they were willing to take my card details again to make the additional £40Ii owed them. I naturally declined for the time being.

Moments laterIi visited the 'lowcostholidays' website once again to try the holiday package once again. To my surprise the price for the flight had changed YET AGAIN,. This time it was £25 cheaper (per person) than the original price I had paid. Therefore INSTEAD OF ME OWING THEM £40. ...in a dramatic turn of events THEY NOW ACTUALLY OWE ME A REFUND OF £25 PER PERSON (A TOTAL OF £50 REFUND).

I instantly called them back to tell them that I now owe nothing, and in fact they actually owe me a refund for clearly paying too much and I NOW SHOULD LEGALLY BE ABLE TO HAVE MY TRAVEL DOCUMENTS since I have no balance outstanding balance.

I spoke to the same guy ont he customer service desk who simply said 'PLEASE WAIT UNTIL TUESDAY WHEN THE FLIGHTS ARE FULLY CONFIRMED' and sadly DUE TO A SYSTEM ERROR I CAN NOT SEND YOU YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS,

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???????

SO IN THE SPACE OF ONE HOUR OF BOOKING WITH ‘LOWCOSTHOLIDAYS’ MY FLIGHT CHARGES HAVE INCREASED (IN WHICH I OWED THEM EXTRA MONEY, AND THEY HAVE ALSO DECREASED (IN WHICH THEY OWE ME A REFUND.

IM SURE BY TUESDAY THE FLIGHT PRICES WILL HAVE CHANGED AGAIN AND THEY WILL PROBABL SAY I NOW OWE THEM ALOT MORE THAN £40.

I HAVE CONTACTED THE TRADING STANDARDS AND THEY ARE NOW LOOKING INTO MY CASE,

DO CUSTOMERS ACTUALLY NEED THIS KIND OF STRESS WHEN BOOKING A HOLIDAY... I THINK NOT!!

So far so good

Booked a holiday to Florida on Saturday morning. Had to book over the phone as the website got itself into a loop. Was told at that time that the lower air tickets had gone and so would cost us an extra £60 than was quoted on the website (£30 each). We were still happy with the price so went ahead and booked. Within minutes our e-mail confirmation had arrived, and today (Monday) using the airline code I was able to see our flights within the my booking section of Virgin Atlantic. I have no worries about the hotel we have booked with them as we stayed there in October 2012 and have booked our own car independently (as we always do).

First time I have used Lowcostholidays but so far I am most impressed with their price as well as the smooth running of things (so far)

Very poor service never want to reply to complaints.

I cannot stress how poor the service is they mis-sold me a holiday then take 3 month to reply that was because i complained on here then offer me 20% plus £120 compensation which in total comes roughly £250 but which i spent short of £1300 on the holiday they must take me for some sort of idiot I have phoned them many of times tey say send a e mail but they never reply.

I told them the offer was unacceptable then they said they will review it and it would take 28days again now its been over 28 days well nearly 2 months and still no answer i am fed up of being treated like a fool for details of my poor holiday read my review below I told lowcost what i want back and i was not being greedy but now i just want my money back in full i dont want compensation i just want back that is mine.

When i got a reply that was because i posted a complaint on here if i didnt then i still wouldnt have one now I have lost faith and tempted to contact ABTA and trading standards.

If they would of looked after me i would of rebooked with them if they want my custom again i want my money back in full plus some sort of discount on my next holiday but at the moment i would rather spend a extra £200-£300 more with thomas cook and have a rep.

Come on lowcost get a grip and look after your cusomers and we wll look after you after all we keep you in business it would cost more to treat people like rubish than to give them their money back because i know i would spend the money i got back wit you again if you looked after me and use you all the time if you dont look after customers no one would recommend you and you loose business.

Very dissapinted with lowcost holidays. No customer care

Hello,
May I please highlight, I have not had a response following the complaint I filed on 3 October! Over two months ago! I would never use their services again and I hope other holiday makers make the right decision and chose an alternative company!
They made me miss my flight back to the UK, I had no transfers even though I paid for it in advance and I had to make my own way back to London and purchase a new ticket for my partner and I. Their customer service workers refused to help!

Please be wise and very careful! I am still waiting to hear back from them.

BEWARE OF EXTRA CHARGES ON ARRIVAL

I got to my room to find no air conditioning working and had to pay 50 Euro to use it (20 Euro returned on check out). I was advised on return by low cost holidays that "certain amenities are payable locally". The website states " "Please note that certain amenities may be payable locally". This statement appears to me to be on most of their hotel's websites.

What this means, according to Low Cost Holidays, is that your hotel can charge you for ANY amenity. My Hotel amenities were "twin bedroom, lounge/dining area, kitchenette with 2 cooking rings, microwave and fridge, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils, air-conditioning and balcony/terrace” and the “maid service”. This means your hotel can charge you for any of these or any combination of these however not all of them.

BEWARE, you are leaving yourself open to multiple charges on arrival to use any of the amenities listed in your hotel, yes.....even your microwave, balcony, or maid service. So you cant know what your holiday will cost you until you arrive.

Avoid Low Cost Holidays - in my opinion they are a rip off.

I can advise you that on arrival at Holiday Centre Apartments I was asked who my travel company was. I was then advised that air conditioning was not included for Low Cost Holidays’ clients. It is clear that there was a pre-existing agreement between Low Cost Holidays and Holiday Centre Apartments that air conditioning was not included for Low Cost Holidays’ clients. Since air conditioning is not included for Low Cost Holidays’ clients there is no legal or moral justification for Low Cost Holidays not explicitly stating on their website that air conditioning is not included in the price of the holiday. This is all the "clarification" customers need. Low Cost Holidays obviously deliberately refrain from advising that their clients do not receive air conditioning, when other Holiday firms have clearly negotiated that air conditioning is included. If its not included SAY SO on your website. Its a clear attempt to mislead.

It wasnt made clear at all, never mind "enough".

Absolute rubbish. Other travel companies include air conditioning at the Holiday Centre Apartments so clearly they have negotiated rates and included them in the cost of the holiday. If Low Cost Holidays want to minimize the cost of a holiday by excluding such amenities then they should make it clear on their website that these amenities are not provided by Low Cost Holidays. There is no excuse, your response is nothing but rhetoric and flannel.

holiday for next year booked

omg im getting kind of worried i have booked a holiday for 7 of us for april next year and after reading these reviews im getting kind of worried , one of our group cant make the holiday so we are taking someone else i contacted low cost and they have told me that it will cost 105 to change a name (rip off) and my holiday hasnt even arrived yet

Unfortunately any charges will be directly from the airline as this is who your contact will be with therefore you are subject to their terms and conditions. Depending on the reason your party member cannot travel, you may seek reimbursement from your travel insurance company.
