Very happy with the service from the website

I order regularly from Boots online, and I have never had any issues. Deliveries are alway prompt, and always correct, even when I go a bit overboard and order way too many things more than I should (every time, LOL). Just can't stop adding to the cart (except when they are out of stock, which does seem quite regularly).
Huge election of things, very very easy to use, descriptions can be a bit sparse, specially on the ingredients of some of the haircare, but more comprehensive than another other site.
Love it, keep up the good work!

Perfect Customer Service!

Boots in Manchester Piccadilly is brilliant. Always really helpful staff, great pharmacists, and they've always been happy to turn my unvalidated receipts into legit ones for Advantage Card points. Good value for money - their own brand Pro-Vitamin shampoo is ££s cheaper and just as good as a the bigger brand's (cough cough Pantene!).

Boots

Not the usual efficient service.

Was served my items and I asked for assistant to look up one item so that I could order it in to store. I was told that it would have to be done separately and to wait aside so the assistant could serve the person behind me. What a lot of nonsense! The assistant should have done all of this in one transaction and called for another assistant to come and serve other customers. After waiting for other customer to be served the assistant decided she had to leave me to get someone else to help on the tills anyway. This assistant was clearly not competent in efficient service and did not seem to know what she was doing when it came to looking up and ordering into store.
CAERPHILLY store.

Boots

Staff let them down

Ordered online to collect instore- specifically choosing the branch nearest to my workplace. Went to collect, to be told I'd 'got the wrong branch' and I should go to the other one which 'would still be open.' It wasn't.
Went to the 'other branch' next day in lunch break and queued up, only to be told my order was in the first branch. Went back to first branch after work to discover they were closed early for Easter. Could not retrieve my order until 2 days later. Good job it wasn't urgent! Emailed them 4 days ago (they don't seem to have a feedback/customer service email contact, only 'enquiries') and they haven't bothered responding.
Really poor customer service and a waste of my time.

Boots

Very Good Choise and fast secure delivery

Have to say that I am very happy with all the orders that I have placed with Boots. I never had any issues with deliveries or the customer service when I rang up, and the orders are always packed securely and neatly. Very happy and would definitely recommd them to all my friends

Boots using Hermes to deliver or should i say NOT deliver!

I thought boots was a good company until I ordered an item for delivery.

Boots Contacted me to say my item will be delivered by Hermes Parcels on the 28th Jan 2013. Waited in from 8am - 8pm on that day! nothing even when I contacted boots customer services at 5pm to say my parcel has not arrived. They reassured me that hermes will deliver by 8pm.

Nothing came so contacted boots again and told them I give me a refund as i'm not waiting in another 12 hours for my item. Customer services apologised and told me they have told hermes to send it back to them.

Hermes tried to deliver my item on 29th Jan 2013 at 14:57 despite boots telling them not too. I was not home so who knows where the parcel is now.

I will never shop with boots again until they dump Hermes!!

Think you've bought it online? Think again!

1. Ordered two bottles of perfume on Boots.com totalling £116 on 09/12/2012 to be collected at a local Boots shop.
2. Receive email on 10/12/2012 informing me that the items would be ready for collection on 13/12/2012
3. Go to collect the items on 14/12/2012 to find that the tills were down. Called back later but the tills were still down.
4. Return to the shop on 17/12/2012 and the staff informed me that they had not received the order.
5. I contact the Boots.com support and they told me that the items must have been "lost in the system" - sounds familiar?
6. They then inform me that the items are also out of stock, hhmmm.
7. They give me a refund but tell me that it will take 3-5 days to get into my account.

So it would appear that Boots are taking money for stock they don't have.
Now I need to find the perfume to replace the ones I thought I'd purchased in the next 5 days before Christmas.
And during this time Boots have got my money that I need to purchase the items with.

Sorry Boots but you will not survive in todays marketplace with business practices and attitudes such as these.

Boots

Awful delivery service and this is me being polite about it just totally awful don't order anything to get delivered not worth it at all. i ordered my things 3 weeks ago no response from the awful delivery company they use as to my orders location never mind when they are going to deliver it. impossible to find out any information from the delivery people and boots customer service couldn't find out either. i will never order any thing on line from them again.

I am still waiting for my order to turn up

Boots

Pathetic and uncaring

My order 17860238 was for instore collection. Received acknowledgement, confirmation and delivery notification but article was not at store when I called to collect. Many calls and e-mails not responded. Still waiting ten days later. No updates. Nothing. Advise go elsewhere. This company is on a downward spiral as far as service is concerned.

Boots

Acceptable

Could have been better! Could have been worse!

Boots

boots online is absolutley useless!

last xmas i ordered over £100 worth of stuff- was delivered late and my boxes were squashed. they apologised and gave me 500 advantage card points. so i gave them the benefit of the doubt. i ordered my cotbed mattress last week- was meant to be delivered yesterday so i took the day off work and waited. it never came. checked with the couriers- who are the most uncontactable people on the planet! and they said it had been send back to depo as it was bigger than expected and it would be delivered at some point next week! its a cotbed mattress- it was always going to be cotbed sized!! so i call boots and get 'what do you want us to do about it?'. how about deliver my item that i payed for!!
the only thing they can do is apparently email the courier company and see what they say about giving me a new delivery date. no offers of apologies or compensation...nothing! so now i need to take another day off work 'at some point next week' and am completely expecting my parcel to have been trashed after over a week of being shoved about in various warehouses. not happy. a big company like boots should use a proper courier company and not flaming hermes who are all self employed car drivers. not good enough.

Boots

Incompetent

They've lost my 5 year loyalty and now I am taking my business elsewhere! I go to the D&A (now Boots) opticians in Wakefield and the bad service all started at the beginning of this year... so they are lucky I stuck around so long.
They've chased me for appointments I'd already had; constant phone calls from various members of staff telling me I was due an appointment when I had been weeks before. I could have understood one phone call, but I kept speaking to the same people and explaining that I had just moved from the Leeds to Wakefield branch. Each time they reassured me the records would be updated, but days afterwards I would get the same phone call.
Letters saying my contact lenses would be put on hold, all because of the appointment I'd had but the staff were too incompetent to update my records.
And now at my last yearly check up it was sprung on me that my lenses were discontinued and was given a new trial pair. This trial pair were uncomfortable, too thick and sticky. So I called the opticians to explain this and they said they would send out a different pair... two weeks later and nothing had come. So I called again but there was no one available to speak to so they said they would call me back the next day - no phone call. So I called for a third time and the person on the phone didn't have a clue, I was left on hold for ten minutes. When she eventually came back I was told I would have to go in to get another pair and get my eyes sized.... I've been there 5 years and they have all that information. So basically they wanted me to travel to the store when all they had to do was post a pair of lenses.
Incompetent.

Boots

Quick delivery, reasonable prices

Boots as is consistent as you can get, quick delivery always and prices reasonable. Site is easy to use and navigate and I get the same sense of security that I get when I visit their branches. Will continue to use, especially in the usually seedy word of pharmacy!

Boots

Poor service :-@ Enfield Boots

This store has no understanding of customer service and staff totally unhelpful, don't go to Enfield Retail park Boots.

I bought goods worth over £30, cashier was mute and didn't even offer a bag nor even said a single word. Train your staff Boots!!

Time to go shop somewhere else.

Boots

Just rubbish really.

Wish I could be bothered to write about all the headache I had with Boots and my eye test. Done incorrectly - given a wrong script. My June 2011 test was O.25 lower than the eye test I had in June 2011 but the practitioner had told me my sight had deteriorated and I needed a 0.25 higher than June 2011. The error was fortunately picked up (by me) prior to ordering my contact lenses and luckily, because I could not be bothered to stand around in the shop any longer (had already taken 1.5 hours of my time) I did not pick out my glasses in the new script - my old ones were the right strength. It would have been money down the drain. Then.. another long, long story about trying to get my order of lenses from Boots online. That is a tale and a half. Suffice to say they took my money out of my account on day one but it took three weeks to get the lenses delivered. They did not respond to e-mails and so I resorted to calling them ... and even then got little to no joy. The lenses did eventually arrive, I promptly returned them in protest and I am still waiting for my refund. In the interim I had ordered lenses from a different on-line supplier and I received them 2 days later - and a whole lot cheaper. My recommendation is use anybody but Boots.

Boots

Just not what I expect

After having customer service training from a variety of different retailers over the years, boots just haven't met my expectations.

When entering the store at a quite period of the day, there were plenty staff hanging around. I went to purchase make-up and was really looking for some advice.

There were 2 members of staff at the end of the aisle but when I tried to look over to get some attention they appeared unapproachable as they were clearly more interested in chatting than actually serving customers.

It was the same at the cash desk, woman seemed uninterested and when she forgot to scan one of my items seemed irritated when I pointed it out.

Have had great experiences with customer service previously with boots but yesterday was a huge let down.

Boots

Very poor service at Boots Hampton, Peterborough

Having placed an online order for local collection at Boots at Hampton we went to collect the item but were not allowed to enter the store due to their tills being down (13:00 on Saturday 23rd June).

Completely rubish service, we had our proof of purchase and all they had to do is walk into their warehouse to get our item and manually update their records once their tills were back up - but oh no that was too much.

AVOID!

Boots

Keep your non-UK credit cards away from Boots

I returned two products at the same spot & time I had bought them (marked wrongly) and I was asked by the cashier if it was OK he credited the amount back into my non-UK debit card. I said yes to the friendly attendant. Big Mistake. HUGE.

Though I got a receipt stating that the amount had been refunded, the money never got back to my bank account. This was October 2011.

During the first half of 2012, I spent hours and more than a dozen mails to Boots customer services, from whom I several times received promises that the funds would be returned… never happened. I even got someone calling me on phone (finally!) two months ago apologizing for the grotesque processing of my claim and saying they would round the amount up to £20 as a compensation. NEVER happened. Till today, I neither got my refund. One feels twice a complete idiot, by:

- Not having demanded one's money back in cash at the counter instead (ALWAYS do so if ever returning goods at a Boots)

- Spending an incredible amount of time writing & responding to mails of 12 different people and providing my bank account data to at least half of them (God forbids my loss gets even worse) for absolutely no good.

Boots “Customer Service” can only be reached by toll-free numbers that cannot be connected from outside the UK & Ireland. Therefore, such customers can forget all about calling up them and talking to someone in charge.

So if you are a tourist, good luck with your cosmetics shopping during the 2012 Olympic Games. But I would stay clear of Boots and instead go to Sephora or any other more professional retailer /pharmacy.

Boots

Teething gel

Boots own has the highest pain killer additive of all on the market. Guess what the entire UK is out of stock. I have tried the North and back home in London. ZERO, zilch. The reason?? I asked one of the staff - due to repackaging ,... dreadful service .. 3 weeks now

Boots

Good advice

Was advised to try a particuar soap for a skin condition. Worked wonders!

Boots

A great company that has every product from your hair to your feet! I've always had a good experience at this store. The staff are always very helpful and if they haven't got the product they will do their very best to get hold of it for you:-)

Boots

Worst experience ever

I was a customer of Dolland & Aitchison for over 10 years before Boots took over. During those 10 years and had no reason to complain as my contact lenses were delivered on time and it was a simple process for making an appointment for my eye tests/checks.

Since Boots took over, it was one nightmare after another. Losing my records, not recording the fact that I already had an eye tests and forcing me to have yet another one, Trying to make an appointment for those eye tests was mission impossible. On average I made at least 3 calls a day to the branch (Oxford circus) over a 2 week period for someone to call back and that call back never materialised. My contact lenses were stopped in the interim and I tried to get an emergency appointment but it was another 2 weeks before I could be seen. I explained I was going on holiday but the person on the phone was totally unsympathetic. I complained to Boots customer care but after one phone call, nothing had happened. I decided to leave Boots in the end as it was too much stress just to order contact lenses and to see an optician. I went to Asda and what an absolutely pleasant experience. I can't thank the opticians at Asda enough for taking all that stress away and making the process of checking my eyes and getting my contact lenses on a regular basis a very simple one.

Boots

They're not just pharmacy!..

I don't know for sure, but I bet Boots is the last place most people would think to look for a Fridge Freezer or a Cooker..
I brought my Fridge Freezer from Boots and had no problems what so ever, easy to order, delivered the next day and on time too.All I had to do was hold the door open, the delivery drivers did the rest.
And best of all, their price couldn't be beaten when you take into account the amount of points££,that went on my Boots card(which was the deal sealer)..

Boots

"Lost in transit"

Purchased and paid for Britax Evolva car seat from Boots.com. Boots confirmed it would be delivered to local store by 09.01.12. Tried to collect it the following day, it had not arrived. E-mailed Boots, no response. After third e-mail, was told by e-mail that the seat had been lost in transit to the shop and we could re-order or obtain a refund. E-mailed to asked them to re-order, no response other than copy of same e-mail saying we could re-order or obtain a refund! Ended up phoning to be told that the seat was now out of stock and it was not known when it would be in stock again. Superviser sympathetic but most unhelpful in seeking a solution. Boots, you have to do better!

Boots

Site doesnt work, couldnt check out

Site is a nightmare, kept getting generic error pages, couldn't login then couldn't check out. I remember having the same issues when I tried to buy something a few months ago and gave up out of frustration in the end. Found the items cheaper on lloyds pharmacy website anyway and was much nicer to use and checked out and paid in minutes, wont be using boots.com again!!

Boots

I've never had any problems with Boots Online Service

I order from Boots every Christmas as I cannot face the rush in the shops and I've never had a problem (now I've said that I'll have a problem next Christmas [joke]). They have always delivered on time. Well packed and goods as expected. Easy to use website and got all the shopping done in 30 minutes.

Lost parcel - Delivery failure by Boots.com courier Yodel

I have always shopped at Boots.com and have collected my goods in store with no problem. However this year I placed an order for home delivery due on or before 23rd December. Unfortunately Boots use the courier company Yodel who have a history of failed delivery, lost parcels, inaccurate tracking system and no level of customer service.
It has been reported in the national newspapers that Yodel had a backlog of 750,000 Christmas parcels.
I will not order from Boots.com again. I have lost Christmas presents to the value of £200 due to their inefficient courier service, Yodel, used by Boots.com. Boots Customer Service Dept report that the items cannot be re-ordered as they are now out of stock. They should hang their heads in shame.

Need to change courier

I ordered a next day delivery. I know it got to the couriers from Boots that day (16th Dec). Boots use Yodel. Please read the reviews on Yodel before contemplating placing an online order through Boots. My parcel has still not turned up despite Boots contacting Yodel several times on my behalf. I'm not holding my breath on receiving it. I will be contacting Boots asking why they are using such a useless courier service. I have been a long-standing customer of Boots online but usually have their instore pick-up. I will not be ordering from them again until they change their courier. In future I will return to using their pick-up from store service. I hope someone in authority at Boots reads this and acts on it. I can't be the only one who has suffered from non-delivery.

Quick and easy to order online and fast delivery.

The last 2 Christmases I have ordered gifts online from Boots and have to say the experience was so easy and they will either deliver to your home address or to your local Boots store. I always go for the collection at my local store as I not always at home for deliveries and they tell you what day you can collect it from your store and my orders have been there waiting for me. Even last year when we had lots of snow and I did not order till a week before Christmas, the delivery was still delivered when they said it would be. They also use Paypal which I great. So well done Boots!

Boots

Boots opticians Red Lion Street Richmond.

Sloopy eye test and wrong perscription. The glasses were awful and had different focal lengths on each eye. Got the correct perscription from D&A, gave it to boots and asked them to remake the glasses. They did not even offer to refund the £27.50 for their dodgy eye test! Not sure how a qualified optician could have got it so wrong. What a waste of time. What on earth has happened to good old trust worthy Boots. Absolutely aweful. Definitely not recommended.

OMG!!!!!

What has happened to boots!!!
Website a nightmare to navigate
and even if products have 3 for 2 on it doesn't mean you can get the offer as some are just make up some are just bath products.
I wasn't even able to order a fragile cup online despite wanting to pick it up from the store being told i had to go in there to buy it, how did it get there then!!!!!!
If Boots wasn't the only place i could but the product i wanted i would have gone else where.
i will not be shopping online with boots again!!!!!!!

Boots

Good for all your bits and bobs.

Cant beat a boots meal deal while the girlfriend is checking out the makeup. Love the brownies.

A really good store.

Good experience of shopping with BOOTS, no matter in store or online.

Boots.com - a huge disappointment

This is the first time I have used boots.com and will certainly be my last. I spend hundreds of £'s online and I must say, shopping with boots.com has been biggest disappointment. Having placed an order over a week ago for collection in store, and having 2 visits to the store, lasting an hour combined, it still hasn't arrived, despite receiving a text and an email stating the order was ready for collection. Complete and utter rubbish. I will not be using their online service again.
