I have been an Aria customer for several years but have only just got around to reviewing the company i choose to spend my money with. Over the years i have had need to purchase components for 5/6 seperate self-build machines plus other upgrades and peripherals. There are numerous eTailer tech sites to choose from, some cheaper than others but at no time when i have required several parts at once have i been able to match Aria prices elsewhere. Delivery is almost always next day for me. Any problems i have had with faulty goods, as is common wherever you buy tech from, has been dealth with swiftly and without hassle, tech-support for configuration issues is excellent too. I am now an active forum member and this entitles me to free postage on most items i buy, i also benefit from member deals, one of which was a Samsung F3 1TB hard drive i recently purchased for £31 delivered, thats a full £12 cheaper than anywhere else can offer. I have recommended Aria to all my family and friends who are interested in parts and full builds, as i see no better option in the marketplace for those with PC technology requirements. Try them yourself, you wont be disappointed
Do NOT order from Aria Technologies, they may seem like they have some good deals, but if something should go wrong with a delivery they will ignore you!
I ordered several products, of which one was missing (Samsung Evo SSD 240) and all they did was point the finger at the delivery company who pointed it back at them!
After that they just fobbed me off when i tried to make calls. They packaged 600 pounds worth of electronic goods in plastic bag and the one with the missing product was ripped but because someone signed for it DPD won't take responsibility and because aria show a black and white photo before it's packaged they consider it not their problem. If you want to gamble your money away, then buy from Aria.
My laptop Hard Drive had died on me and I was in need of a replacement fast, as usual I checked Aria and all it's competitors for the best replacement product and found quite a few of Aria's competitors had the drive I wanted, all priced similarly.
However, I choose to go with Aria as they offer free next day delivery with DPD for loyal customers, this was the first time I had used Aria's new carrier and they did not let me down. I got the replacement on time, undamaged and it worked a treat. To add the price was one of the cheapest out there.
I would definitely recommend Aria again as I've been shopping with them for over 2 years now and they have not let me down to date, infact they get better each time :).
First site i found when i first wanted to upgrade pc in 2011 and stuck with them since. Recently purchased my new build from these guys, 600w corsair, gigabyte mobo, 4gb vengeance ram, intel g3220, power color 7850. Absolutely no problems, all working fine, fast delivery, opted for the saturday delivery for the extra £ and it came, very useful if your impatient. First bought a motherboard and psu back in 2011 with no problems which is why i came back, wouldn't go anywhere else now. The guys in the forums are friendly and happy to help aswell, they pointed me in the right direction to my new build. Highly recommend this site.
I've used the Aria website for 10 years. I've ordered barebones systems, power sources, hard drives, monitors, graphics cards, pen drives etc etc.
On the 23-8-13 I ordered a 2TB WD caviar green for my media player. It failed within 2 months, on the 18-10-13 I told Aria of my problems and placed a comment under the 2TB drive on the aria website warning others of my problems.
Aria just completely disowned the problem, they forwarded all my complaints to WD.
It cost me about a tenner to send the drive to WD for them to look at it. They've have just sent me 13-11-13 a recertified drive, so now i have paid more money for a drive i could have bought for £30-40 less than i spent.
Aria have totally ignored all my issues, they have deleted my comments and they have left me with an inferior product that has cost me money to replace.
Up until very recently i would have heartily recommended this website for practically any computer goods. Now i would never buy anything from them again.
Not only did they ignore me they deleted my comment under the drive so that others will not be warned of the problems i had.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY....

Ordered a £220 graphics card on next day sat. delivery. As soon as I confirmed purchase a warning popped up about it being delayed because of extended checking. Received an email 5 minutes after confirming purchase using a secure banking service that they required 2 forms of ID to be scanned and sent because my billing address didn't match my delivery address. First time I have come across this problem online shopping, would have been nice to be informed of this policy first. No scanner so requested cancellation...3 to 5 days for refund.
Complete waste of time, might be just my luck.

I ordered £450 worth of PC parts to build a PC from aria as I found their site yet again very easy to use as I have the last 4 or 5 times I have bought products from them. I have never had an issue with the website, delivery of the items or the items that were delivered (i.e. no faults).
Unfortunately I was given a fan which had a fault with one of the wires into the connector. I thought that I would call their customer service to thought things out, only to hear that you can't return items over the phone. I thought this was rather peculiar and questioned further about the return of the item.
I was told I would have to pay for the item to be sent back unless I wanted to come into the store, but before 3pm. I thought this was strange again and then discovered that they are allowed 28 days to check for a fault. So having received every part for the PC within 18hours of ordering it from the website, I could then potentially be without the faulty part for 6 weeks allowing for delivery.
I informed Aria about the problem through their website and explained I could not afford to send the item back and that coming into the store before 3pm would prove probably too difficult. I was immediately sent a code to put on a package to return the item, to then find out that I still had to pay to send that package and I had just received the standard returns and delivery procedure offered by aria.
I personally believe this has been a poor customer service and response to a customer who has spent in excess of £1000 at aria over the last 18 months all over a £8 140mm fan. It's the first fault I have had with any part yet I believe aria have failed to deal with the problem in an adequate way. My friend ordered a part off Amazon, it was faulty, they sent him a fresh one out with the return instructions and paid postage included. That is the kind of customer service which is acceptable. It didn't take 6 weeks until he had a working part, he didn't have to call up to be told he had to return it online, he didn't have to complain about their service and he wasn't ignored by their customer service team in addition to not having to pay any return costs despite aria informing me they could refund any postage for it for up to £9.99. Overall I believe Amazon won with their customer service as well as providing by enlarge lower prices. I wonder where I will be tempted to get my PC parts from in the future...
i bought a 24" monitor with a 3 year warranty and it died after about 18 months, unfortunatly the manufacturer had gone bust and so the warranty could not be used but aria replaced the monitor with another 24" with no fuss or bother, great customer service and i have bought all my computer gear from them ever since.
recommend to anyone
After reading a Gold review for the Gladiator FX Predator 650Ti Boost FX-6300 4.10GHz Gaming PC in PC Format, I decided to purchase, I first rang the customer service team to ask if I would be able to upgrade from the standard 64gb SSD to a 128gb model, I was told I could and was given a quotation number that began TS. A couple of days later I rang the sales team and gave them my quotation number, I was then told that I wasn't allowed to make any changes to the build despite the guy from customer services giving me the quote, and the fact that the Q&A section of the listing for that PC containing several positive answers to the question "can I change the build" I decided that it may have been an off day for the person I spoke to so I tried again, 3 more times, each time to be told I couldn't make changes to the build and that my quote was not valid. I have now come to the conclusion that it will be best if I go for a similar build from elsewhere. It will definitely cost more money, but at least the customer service cant be as bad... Can it?

Poor Customer service, long delay in getting items shipped.
I placed my order on the tuesday with next day delivery. Woke up wednesday to find an email that morning saying that they would not process my order without me sending addtional verification like bank statement and uitlity bill. Fine, emailed that of straight away. Later that day I emailed to check that this had been accepted and that my order would be dispatched that day. Received a reply saying that everything was fine and that it would be dispatched shortly. Woke up Thursday to find that my order had not been shipped. Apparently one of my items had gone out of stock, but would be back in stock later that day. I emailed back saying that I wanted my order dispatched today so if there was any chance of the out of stock item holding up the dispatch then to remove it and to send the remaining items. Had this confirmed that they would do so. Emailed later around 1.5 hrs before the dispatch deadline to find out if my order had been processed and would be dispatched as requested. Had no reply. Evenutally received a phone call to say that the HD had come back in stock but they couldn't assign it to my order. Fine, take it of the order and dispatch, long delay on the phone then I was told that they had missed the dispatch deadline by 3 mins and it couldn't be dispatched till Friday.
Utterly useless customer service. I made it clear that I wanted the order dispatched today with or without the out of stock item, I expected them to be on top of this but they clearly were not, a basic check of my order to see if was being dispatched before the cut off time would have flagged the problem and it could have easily been resolved by removing the out of stock item as I had requested. I'd even emailed them well in advance to remind them to do this and they still missed it.
So the my order which should have been delivered on Wednesday is now going to turn up the following Monday.
They clearly have issues with their stock control as when I placed my order all items were in stock. Having taken my money I would have expected these items to be then reserved for my order but it wasn't, it also was not reserved for me when it came back in stock.
The person dealing with my order also was not able to think ahead to resolve my issue even when I made very clear how this could be done. Had she been keeping an eye on my order it would have been easily resolved with little effort. I could not have made it easier for her and still it got messed up.
A company with such little regard for it's customers does not deserve my business. I will be sticking with ebuyer from now on.

Just bought all the components needed to build a new gaming PC ready for Battlefield 4. This was my first time building a PC, and I have a few questions. I phoned aria up on a number of occasions and the staff were very helpful, and took the time to answer all of my questions.
My items arrived the day after ordering them and were very well packaged, I received a number of emails and texts to keep me updated with my order which was nice.
When another company had let me down on some items, I phoned aria and asked if they would be willing to match the price, which they did.
This is a company that I will be using to buy all of my computer parts and accessories from in the future and will recommend to anyone.
The only negative I have is, after sending a few emails to aria they remain un answered, I don't know if it was just a one off or they were experiencing a busy period. If emails were answered more swiftly within 24-48 hours this would be a perfect company.
I would also like to thank Neil for all his help on 19/6/2013, he was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help me he is an asset to your company.
Just received my latest order - a nice new 23" monitor.
It was a great price, but when delivery was added it worked out more expensive than a competitor. When I informed Aria of this, within 30 minutes the item reappeared with free delivery!! Awesome :D
Item arrived next day via DPD with their oh-so-useful one hour time slot.
However, as can be seen in other reviews, and experienced personally on one previous order, Aria's communication skills can occasionally be sorely lacking. If you catch them on a quiet day, they're probably one of the best companies in the business - but if you catch them on a busy day, prepare to chase, chase, and chase again.
If Aria read this, please just improve the customer communication side of things (reply to e-mails, return phone calls) and I'd recommend you to all and sundry :)
I have used Aria several times and have always found them to be on top of their game in terms of price, quality of goods and efficiency.
There are many payment options to suit everyone such as Paypal, Amazon payments, Google checkout and Credit/Debit cards.
I've never had a problem with delivery or any of the products I have purchased, and I intend to continue using Aria for future computer components.
Dude, this is the place to for your PC bits, always have something good on offer, really quick processing, and decent delivery options, I've had a decent amount of stuff from these guys over the last few years, and only ever had one problem, which was sorted in like a couple of emails.
I'm always looking around for a good deal and since finding Aria when I was looking to upgrade my system and comparing them to other sites I couldn't find cheaper, and with the specials they do I got lucky they were doing my motherboard and CPU so £500 for a first order and since then I got everything to build a mate a new pc and a couple of cases, mostly all arrived next day.
I also like the courier they use DPD who give you a 1 hour time slot which means I don't get my 3 year old pestering to go out take him to the park with out the worry of missing my parcel :)
When ever I'm quoting a build for friends or just having a conversation about computers, I always refer them to Aria Technology's.
I've found that the help the staff offer when ordering parts to be 2nd to non. Always informative and great at building computers. The discussion board has helped with countless issues I've come across and the many competitions has always drawn new members to the community.
with Events that are organised and daily deals i can't imagine when anyone would have anything bad to say against Aria Technology.
I have not been using Aria for that long probably 4-5 months now in that time I have spent around £1k and have had 0 issues, I mean nothing. They even ordered in a part they do not stock and shipped it pretty much within 24 hours, the only grip I did have with Aria is they used citylink who are shocking from previous experiences until they recently switched to DPD who have been awesome. Since using Aria I have and always will recommend this company to my friends, family and acquaintances. George good job!
I have used Aria for many years (I live locally) only had a few small problems which was rectified quickly so, when my PC gave up the ghost I had no problems what so ever in ordering an over-clocked i5 bundle. This arrived the next day and was even better than the high expectations I had for it. I would whole heartedly recommend Aria to anyone :)
I ordered a Creative Sound blaster z and after a week it started to throw out all sound muffled, so I phoned for a return number. Once it arrived I sent off the card , and had a refund on my card within 2 days after they received the card.
When reviewing a company as good as aria, its hard to think of things to write down and not sound like a 5 year old trying to convince his mummy that this new toy is amazing!, and that i have to have it now!
Aria PC has always been a delight to shop with, when shopping on-line for "more upgrades" they are always my first port of call.
I suppose you want to know why i say this?
First of all, Customer service means the most to me! And Aria certainly aren't lacking in this department!
When phoning to place an order or just querying stock, the staff at aria are always extremely polite and helpful also in the rare case something does goes wrong, the staff do not hesitate to go out there way to resolve your issues.
Secondly, A good product selection!
Aria have satisfied my geek side every time with excellent product ranges from ssd's to computer fans, they always have what i want! and its usually in stock too!
Thirdly, price of components.
With aria i would be more than happy to pay slightly more for my hardware as the customer service is excellent, but having to pay more to get more isn't the case here, there prices are the cheapest around and with the excellent customer service there really is no other option but to shop there!
Forth, the layout of the website!.
I know some people wouldn't think that the design of a website would be that important, right? well to me it matters, I don't like having to trawl through pages and pages just to find what i want, or using stupid drop down menus that lead you to new drop down menus and so on. With aria.co.uk, its easy to find what you want whether you want to just be a geek and drool over the shiny hardware or actually buy something, you're only usually 2 clicks away by using there nifty side bar and super quick checkout system!
Fifth, where would you be without super fast delivery of your new shiny hardware/accessories!
This is a massive strong point with aria, using excellent delivery firms to get your goods to your front door in the best time and condition!
And last but not last, the aria forums! what a great community, helping each other out with computer related problems, or advice on your next upgrade, not to forget the customer care section for retail related problems!
These are the reasons i have scored aria 5 stars: perfect!
If you're looking for good quality customer service, cheap prices, fast delivery and an easy to use website, take my advice and shop at aria.co.uk,
You wont be disappointed!
Used Aria many times now for the purchase of various PC components, peripherals and accessories ranging from inexpensive £10-20 items to those £100+ in value.
Most of my orders have went by without problems on Aria's side though i have had 2 where items were damaged. I was able though to fill out an RMA request, ship items back and get credit/replacement items within a very reasonable time frame. Also i've never had any problems with delivery via city link in my area but it's nice to see they switched to using DPD due to many problems elsewhere and on that front items have arrived to me as and when i expected from DPD and in good packaging.
The only negative i have is that there are some area's where they don't always stock as big as range of products as i'd hope for but having said that they have been expanding some lines and right now most area's have a good choice.
Overall i'd highly rate Aria based on my experiences with them. Of course getting damaged items is never great but on the flipside it's nice to know that the returns process is pain free a pretty quick so should it happen again in future i won't have to worry .
having dealt with aria for many years i've had a few ups and downs but over all i can't complain about the company, i've seen alot worse over the years, if i've had any problems with goods there quick to resolve the problem, and always happy to help, same goes for the prices depending on the item there pretty good
Having been recommended this service from a friend I chose to give Aria a go.
Gotta say I'm greatly satisfied with the service and the updates via email regarding the current status of my order.
The only problem I encountered was an item running out of a stock and not being informed until I called in, this could have been remedied with perhaps an email or notification it was out of stock, however upon calling aria they gave me an alternative for the item there and then giving me a full update on the order delivery time (My initial inquiry).
I will be using this service again, helpful staff and an easy to navigate website along with great web offers, can't complain at all.
This was my first order from Aria since they changed delivery company to DPD. The service is so much better now and lets you know when the delivery will be arriving.
One of the items which I ordered was out of stock at the time so a delay was to be expected, but the CS team kept me updated on the progress of the order from start to finish.
A truly top notch company.
Last week I ordered a replacement CM Storm Xornet Gaming mouse from Aria, I was pleased to find that this was on one of Aria's "super" special offers and the price shot the competition out of the water. Usually I would shy away from shopping on price alone but with Aria you can have both - value and great customer service.
I would strongly recommend Aria for their customer services and non nonsence approach to business - you order, they ship and it arrives when they promise. If there is a problem (and I have only had one - that was sort of my fault) it is resolved.
I recently had a hardware failure of my Motherboard and CPU and after extensive testing of my components I decided to bite the bullet to upgrade. Without a second of hesitation I headed over to Aria to source the items and with their new deal with DPD I ordered next day and low and behold it arrived at 8:47am perfectly packaged. Without a shadow of a doubt Aria is the best place to order computer hardware from.
Ordered on Friday morning in the sales wasn't expecting it until after the new year but to my surprise they despatched it Friday and it arrived the following Monday! The headset was cheaper than competitors (inc del) , but was shadowed by 6GBP postage.
The item arrived in reasonable condition, although City Link seemed to have bashed it about a bit, could of used more bubble wrap. Apart from that though it was a brilliant buy.
First time I used Aria
Ordered a Dell monitor and the Paypal transaction ended up billing me twice (This is no fault of Aria ). Called Aria PC to TRY and explain what had happened, the customer service male representative who had an air of arrogance and was uncommunicative rushed me off the phone, very very cold.
I eventually sent an email to Aria himself and was quickly called back within the hour by someone different who set expectations and told me that my extra payment had been refunded and that my Monitor would be with me the very next day ( This person had excellent customer service and handling skills ). The next day I received the monitor and the extra Paypal payment was refunded. The monitor is fantastic no problems with it.
Sadly I will not use Aria again for any PC purchases as I could not deal having to speak to the same uncommunicative arrogant customer service rep in the event of a problem.
Thanks to the guys at Aria!
My parts were ordered yesterday at 4pm, delivered from Holland this morning at 9:30. Absolutely fantastic service, well packaged, and cheaper than anywhere else.
Will definitely recommend this website to my friends.
Ordered a few parts from here a few weeks ago, ordered them on Friday and they arrived on Monday afternoon, very happy with the delivery, had a few problems whilst putting it all together so i posted on their forums, got replies very quickly and helped alot. Great delivery and great prices.
Amazing site would buy all my PC parts from them they have great help on forums and off cant recommend these guys enough ordered a radeon hd7770 and a 500w psu came next day was shocked on how quick the delivery was with these guys.
Ive shopped with many different e-tailers, but never one like Aria, their customer service focused approach was so helpful, the forum they run is a dream for all enthusiasts alike, and their website and order proceedure is second to none
i recently ordered a Saitek Cyborg V7 keyboard, order went through instantly, dispatched within the hour, and delivered the very next morning, in perfect condition.. The website is easy to navigate and if there is any problem, they are simply 1 phone call away or a visit to the forums
cant beat this service!
Late deliveries. Lost orders. Dead on arrival products. Insanely high prices. I've had all these problems with UK technology retailers, NONE of them with Aria. They are trustworthy and reliable with often the best prices in the UK.
They have an active forum frequented by the staff so questions can be asked directly, as well as adding a personal touch to it all. Queries are answered promptly and clearly. They even helped me out once by rearranging the courier free of charge when I missed the delivery.
If your considering using Aria stop hesitating and just go for it. The only negative for them is some product categories are a little low on variety, so if they stock something you want, just go for it, you wont regret it!
This is the best computer shop i have been to EVER! i got the parts i needed fast and at a very low price. the only part i was waiting for before i buit my computer was the case form another website (Ebuyer) which was very slow to deliver and late in the day when the driver decided to turn up. i would recommend Aria pc to anyone because of the great, friendly staff when i went to get more parts and the ideas they gave me to improve my computing experience. The prices are very cheap and they have a large range of products however missed out on the exact model of case i wanted. (NZXT WHITE)
