Excellent customer service from Rob!
I spoke to various different companies and found that the prices didn't actually really vary that much but what made the difference was the customer service. Most other companies I spoke to were no where near as helpful or clear and in some cases downright awful! Rob however went out of his way to be helpful and friendly and that was definitely the reason I booked with Florida Car Hire.

Cheap, reliable and fully inclusive!
The booking process is very simple and clear. Whilst they are an agent, they clearly define what you will receive when hiring a car and do so better than most of the main rental companies.
Cost is competitive and represents good value for money.
The service is quick (voucher issued very quickly when notified i'd be travelling during the standard 2 week issue period) and efficient.
I have used this company for several years and have found them to be consistently reliable.

Back again for another car......
I've used this service before to hire a car, some of the best rates and very clear about what is included and what's not, which is not always the case on some sites. Very easy, quick and trouble free booking.

Fantastic, personal service froma real human being!!
I was pleasantly surprised to find a real person on the end of the phone without automated option numbers or call centre back ground noise. Once we had a brief conversation about my car hire needs, the gentleman on the end of the phone soon sorted it all out, and even found me a cheaper option by slightly adjusting my pick up and drop off times - to avoid paying for additional days car hire that I didn't really need.
The service was thorough and left me feeling confident in my choice of using this car hire company - I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to hire cars in Florida!

Best Value for Money
Love the fact that the price quoted includes all insurances and up tp 3 additional drivers (Alamo ) and a full tank of fuel. I always look to purchase these prior to going as it can be quite expensive when you add it on in the USA. Having checked other web sites not only did the quote include the above but you where also the cheapest. I m a returning customer and was very pleased before with the service I received, the voucher arrived within the timescale given and there was no problems at the car hire company in Florida.

The best customer service for a very long time
I spoke to Rob Melhuish and I can honestly say that he was one of the best and most helpful representatives that I have ever dealt with. Not only did he sort out my specific problem but also helped in many other ways also, FloridaCarHire,com are very lucky to have people like him working for them and the public are very lucky also to be dealing with a company and people like Rob.

Fantastic, extremely helpful customer service, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Anyone that knows my standerds for a bargain / customer service would be surprised that I would give 5 stars but this company are a genuine 5star company.
They explain very very well what is included in the hire and also advise you on what the people on the desk will try and sell you. They then explain why you don't need these additional fees. They also price matched another company after checking it up.
I have already passed on this companies details on to others and they are also now going to book through them, anyone reading this should do the same.

Lovely personable people!
Rob,who I dealt with was enthusiastic and very informative.He called me back promptly the following day so we could go through the booking and gave me some important advice for when we collect our cars in Orlando in 4 week time,for the first timer collecting a car if you have the Gold package insurance don't let the desk talk you into buying extra insurance,your covered and believe me I've been GOT before years ago,when kids are running around your feet and everyone's tired,don't give in to the seller.

complaint dealt with satisfactorily
Car hire company dealt with our complaint and got us compensation, problem was with alamo and not florida car hire
booked car online when arrived at airport after long flight was told that car we had booked was smaller and to get bigger car would cost us more money.
When we refused we were then told that as credit card in my name and husband was going to be main driver it would cost us another $200. When we demanded to speak to manager we were then told it was a deposit of $200 which we would get on returning vehicle. We were also told to return vehicle with no fuel as we had paid for this already.
We checked this before returning car and found it had to be returned with full tank or we would be charged.
The car which we were allocated was the one we originally booked and there was infact no smaller vehicles available.
The member of staff who dealt with us was determined to get more money from us and blamed the online booking system and not Alamo

Quick and easy to book and great value for money.
I have used Florida Car Hire many times and have never been disappointed. My only problem with this booking was when I clicked on 'vehicles' I expected it to bring up the range on offer. Instead it just kept taking me back to the booking screen. I tried it on my PC and iPad and it was the same. Not a huge problem as I just went to the Alamo site to look at their range of vehicles.

amazing service
i had been shopping around for a while for car hire and had heard a few horror stories. when speaking with floridacarhire they put my mind at ease. they mot only matched the cheapest quote i recieved but they beat it. if the service on arrival is as good as i recieved during booking i will most definatly recommend anyone to use floridacarhire. The booking process (internet) with Florida car hire was an absolute pleasure.

take the hassle out of florida car rental
I have travelled with my family to Florida for 30 years and ALWAYS found car renting in Florida a hassle. BEST rental company are Alamo giving you a choice of cars with courteous service and graet back up. Florida rentacar use alamo, the service they give is backed up by informed telesales people who know the problems we face when we arrive at the terminal exhausted ,and the sales pitch we are inevitably subjected to so they make sure we dont need any more than we paid for and we are ready for the overly enthusiastic rental car salesman
They will price match and beat any valid price on the net .Cant beat that!

Florida Car Hire "Can't Fault It"
Used Florida Car Hire back in 2010 "Alamo" and really can't fault it. Easy to use and you get a really great rate (I recommend the Gold option). Going to Tampa in the middle of March 13 and didn't hesitate to hire another 2 cars through them.
